From our first call to the final delivery, you'll be involved every step of the way to ensure your vision is at the heart of every decision. With clear and frequent communication, we'll work together to create a website that drives results and reflects your mission.
This timeline outlines the key steps in the process of building your perfect website, from initial consultation to the final delivery.
Initial consultation
We'll have a free 30-minute call to discuss your project and goals, and take a look at your current website if you have one. We'll explore whether my services would be a good fit with no pressure to commit.
Research & planning
I'll review your website in depth if you have one (or any other informational materials), and research your field or cause. Based on my research and our initial consultation, I'll craft a detailed and specific plan for your new website. Expect about 3-5 days for this phase.
Second consultation
We'll have a second free 30-minute call to discuss the proposed website plan. Once you have made the decision to move forward — whether that's during our call or after — I'll send over a contract for your signature and an invoice for a $100 non-refundable deposit.
Design & development
Once we're under contract, I'll begin building your website. You'll provide all text copy and images needed. During this time, I may reach out with questions, but otherwise will work independently until the revision phase. Allow 2-3 weeks for an initial version to be completed.
Revisions
Once the initial version of the website is complete, we'll schedule another call or communicate via email to begin revisions. I offer unlimited revisions until you're happy with the final product.
Transaction & subscription
Once you've given the green light on the final product, I'll send an invoice for the work based on our contract. As soon as payment has been received, I'll deliver the source code for the website. At this time, you may decide if you'd like to subscribe to an optional hosting & maintenance plan with me.
